The Foundation R.A.C. Rosón Arte Contemporáneo starts its activities with the presentation of Tiempo perdido, ganado y empatado (Lost, Won and Even Time) an exhibition by Jonathan Hernández. This show is the result of the artist's participation in the Foundation's Residence Programme in Pontevedra. Jonathan Hernández settled in the city during June and July, and he developed, from his experience there, a number of works in which the concern about time predominates.

Recovering some inputs that characterize his work - humour, word-games, and misunderstandings - Jonathan Hernández has developed a huge appropriation exercise of the images and objects found in his immediate surroundings; with them he has composed a series of collages and assemblages that function as triggers for memory, in which temporary collective constructions contrast with the poetics of subjective time.

The variety of materials and the constant references to everyday life and media are elements that Jonathan Hernández has taken to propose a generous exhibition, rich in connotations, which also bridges the public and the private spheres, and the past and the present as well.
